How to use OpenWhispr Studio

  1. Choose local-only processing or cloud processing for speed
  2. Pick a transcription model: Orukeet, Whisper, NVIDIA Parakeet or Cohere Transcribe
  3. Pick your main use case: dictation, meetings, translation or voice notes
  4. Choose Tap or Hold dictation activation and set your hotkey
  5. Copy your personal setup plan, then install OpenWhispr from the GitHub releases
  6. Set your hotkeys in Settings, App, Hotkeys inside the desktop app
