Odysseus Studio — self-hosted AI workspace setup with real Docker compose, ports, model hosts, data files, modules, tips

How to use Odysseus Studio

  1. Follow the verbatim quick start: clone, copy the env example, and bring the stack up with Docker
  2. Toggle services in your compose file and set the app port, with conflicts against other services flagged
  3. Pick Ollama, LM Studio or OpenAI as your model host and copy the matching env snippet
  4. Browse all eight workspace modules, from chat and agents to deep research and documents
  5. Check the exact data files Odysseus persists under its single data directory

Features

  • Built on the real pewdiepie-archdaemon odysseus repo, version 1.0.3, with its exact ports and images
  • Compose generator uses the real service images, including ChromaDB 1.5.9, SearXNG and ntfy 2.32.0
  • Port validator blocks clashes with ChromaDB on 8100, SearXNG on 8080 and ntfy on 8091
  • Model host picker covers Ollama on 11434, LM Studio on 1234 and the OpenAI API with a commented key
  • Honest scope: the server runs on your own machine via Docker, no local LLM runs inside this page
