Mock AWS Playground

Simulate S3 and DynamoDB in your browser — no AWS account needed.

Mock AWS Playground — simulate S3 buckets and DynamoDB tables plus an AWS CLI command builder, all in your browser, free

How to use Mock AWS Playground

  1. Create a simulated bucket, add a sample object, then list and delete objects.
  2. Create a simulated DynamoDB table, put an item, then get it back or query by key prefix.
  3. Pick a service and operation in the CLI builder, fill in parameters, and copy the generated command.
  4. Browse the 132-service coverage reference to see what an emulator of this kind covers.
  5. Reset the simulation any time to return to the seeded demo buckets and tables.

Features

  • Simulated S3: create buckets, upload/list/delete objects, export a bucket listing as JSON — all in-memory, labelled SIMULATED
  • Simulated DynamoDB: create tables, put/get/query items by key prefix — all in-memory, labelled SIMULATED
  • AWS CLI command builder for 8 services (S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, IAM, CloudWatch) with region picker and copy button; outputs text only, never runs commands
  • Service-coverage reference: 132 emulated AWS services in 16 categories, with search
  • Seeded deterministic demo data (mulberry32, seed 20261026) and one-click reset
  • Honest labels throughout: no AWS connection, no real credentials requested; the example access key appears only as clearly labelled documentation placeholder text
