Lazypg Studio

Browse Postgres schemas, run SQL on sample data

Lazypg Studio — Browse Postgres schemas, run SQL on sample data, and plan lazygit-like TUI workflows in a safe demo app!

How to use Lazypg Studio

  1. Pick a table in the schema tree, then filter its rows with the quick-search box.
  2. Write a SELECT query in the SQL editor, run it against the sample data, and save it as a favorite.
  3. Open the JSONB viewer for a sample event payload, or draft a pgtui connect command in the Connect Plan tab.

Features

  • Schema tree browser over sample Postgres data: users, orders and products tables with instant quick-search filtering
  • SQL editor simulator: SELECT FROM with optional WHERE equality and LIMIT, run against built-in sample rows
  • JSONB viewer for sample event payloads with pretty-printed nested objects, modelled on pgtui JSONB support
  • Command palette filtering the real pgtui commands: browse, SQL editor, JSONB viewer, favorites and connect planning
  • Query favorites: save, load and delete queries, seeded with the real-style favorites from the repo docs
  • Connection planner that drafts the pgtui connect command from host, port, database and user, with no live connect
  • Honest scope note: demo on sample data only, never connects to a live server or sends credentials anywhere
