Crashcat Physics Studio

Simulate rigid bodies with real crashcat shapes, constraints and copy-paste world code — free.

Crashcat Physics Studio — simulate rigid bodies with real crashcat shapes, constraints and copy-paste world code — free.

How to use Crashcat Physics Studio

  1. Pick a shape and a motion type, then click the canvas to drop the body.
  2. Add a rope to link two balls with a real distance constraint and watch the chain hold.
  3. Change gravity, pause the simulation or reset the scene at any time.
  4. Copy the real crashcat world code for your scene and run it with npm install crashcat.
  5. Browse the 8 constraints and the engine feature list to plan your game or simulation.

Features

  • 8 real crashcat shapes: box, sphere, capsule, cylinder, convex hull, triangle mesh, compound and plane
  • All 8 constraints from the README: hinge, slider, distance, point, fixed, cone, swing-twist and six-dof, with motors and springs
  • Live distance-constraint rope demo plus a kinematic platform in the 2D playground
  • Code generator emitting the README quick-start code: layers, gravity, rigidBody.create and updateWorld
  • Motion types STATIC, DYNAMIC and KINEMATIC, exactly as the engine defines them
  • Runs fully offline in your browser: no API keys, no sign-up
