Browni Studio

Tiny typed browser storage for cookies, local, session and database

Browni Studio — tiny typed browser storage for cookies, local, session and database, with live subscribe events built in

How to use Browni Studio

  1. Pick the local, session or cookies store and save a key with a string, number, boolean or JSON value
  2. Read the live store contents back and check the original type survived the round trip
  3. Delete any key and watch it disappear from the real browser store for that tab or site
  4. Use the change event log to follow saves and deletes as you work
  5. Copy the install, import and async db snippets to use Brownies in your own project

Features

  • Built on the real franciscop brownies repo, version 4.0.2, MIT licensed, 2539 bytes gzipped
  • Live cookie, local and session stores in this page with real type preservation via the JSSTR marker
  • In-memory store port with subscribe and unsubscribe verified by the harness against repo behaviour
  • Cookie defaults match the repo, path slash and 100 days expiry, configurable via options
  • Honest scope: the db store is async IndexedDB in the real library, shown here as exact usage code
